Buono’s Pizza

What a delicious pie, lemme tell ya. The Margherita slices? Forget about it perfect. The plain cheese pie was just as strong, real old-fashioned flavor, no shortcuts. This was my first time at this location. I’ve been to the one in Gilbert before, and just like over there, the service here was top-notch. Shelley, the owner, came over to our table herself class move. She even brought out the center of two cannolis on the house. That’s the kind of hospitality you don’t see much anymore. Buono’s does it right. I’ll be back. Alphonse

Good undercarriage, nice tang. Cheese is thick! Overall great football pizza! Would come here weekly for Sunday football

Good size slices with a nice crispy undercarriage, they nailed it. Cheese and sauce has some nice Italian seasonings on it. However, I’d consider this to be a mediocre and almost imitation attempt at NY style pizza. The place is nicely decorated in a NYC style, but any NYC $1 slice place, even the bottom of the barrel ones, are better than this place. Are they are better than any major pizza chain like Domino’s, Little Caesars, Papa John’s, etc? Yes, but Venezia’s and Brooklyn V’s is better and I don’t think either of those two places are very good.
