By The Chef Pizza

This is a STEONG slice. Some flop, dry undercrust, thin and balanced. This is exactly how you hope a slice comes out when you order it.

Best ny slice I've ever had. The focaccia pizzas are super fun and flavorful and worth getting. The crusts are perfectly chewy and crunchy at the same time, the sauce is incredible and I love that he always is cooking up fun new flavor ideas. This is a weekly stop for us for a couple of slices! 10/10. Best pizza in Lakeland and it's not even close

my favorite pizza. i am a huge fan and a weekly visitor. i love both styles the chef has on offer. i would say my heart chooses the new york slice as a personal preference. that being said, the focaccia crust he prepares is simply incredible. the chef definitely shows off his ability to bring together high quality ingredients and flavors with the thick crust pizzas. there is a highly personal attention to detail with every chef's special he puts on the menu. the chef is regularly discussing his new ideas and pizza's he wants to put out, and each one i've witnessed has been a success. i will be showing up here as often as i can because i know there is also going to be high quality pizza and ingenuity on the menu.

Great thick crust even better thin. The pepperoni cup w hot honey is insanely good. The buffalo chicken thick is the best buffalo chicken pizza ive ever had

Love that the pizza is toasted upon order. Staff keeps the space well and clean. Has parking and not difficult to get to from Florida Ave. Ordered the Salcicca & Chef Specialty.

I’m from Philly when I moved to Florida it was hard to find good pizza. By the Chef Pizza is the best Pizza in the State.

This is the best pizza place I have ever been in. Hands down the best pizza in Florida. Come in at least once a week also wonderful customer service.

Absolutely exquisite pie, showcases simple yet elegant flavor !! Immense size for why is paid for, it reallys makes it feel like a New York pizza.

Got the It’s Saucy slice. Only $6. Great pizza! Nice owner. Good vibes! Right in downtown Dixieland Lakeland. Great addition to the Lakeland pizza scene

Awesome sauce tangy and sweet, fresh and crispy. May be a newer spot but definitely one of the best in Lakeland already.

Great pizza

This is my second time trying By the Chef Pizza. The first pizza I tried was the thicker focaccia bread, pepperoni. It was ok very greasy. But for the purpose of this review, I tried their traditional New York style pizza with extra pepperoni. The flavor was good but it was floppy. The undercarriage was good. The first few bites you had to really tug and it was a little chewy, but it got better as you get closer to the crust. Very greasy. A bit too much so. Good pizza, not great. $22.50 for the large 18”.
