The upside down is amazing, as well as the Margarita slice. The right thickness 🍕

Went here off of Dave’s 8.9 review. Boy was I disappointed. Pizza was good not great. Thin crust was ok. Sauce and Cheese lacked flavor. Overall not worth going out of your way for.

Despite the horrendous 2+hr wait, the pizza was solid. But it does not compete with Ralph’s, Lido’s, Pizza Land, Star Tavern, or even Sun Ray’s yada yada.

The Crunchy Thin Pizza is the headliner here. Super thin, like a larger version of a bar pie; however, surprisingly soft & floppy dough. The only thing crunchy about the pie is the crust, which is perfect, both in taste & texture, by far the best attribute of this style pizza. Because it’s such a thin pie, they go very light on the cheese and sauce, while maintaining a terrific cheese to sauce ratio. The only downside is the lack of flavor in both ingredients. The cheese is fairly standard, less well done than you’d find on most bar pie styles. The sauce is rather bland, definitely needs a little kick. Dave Portnoy helping this joint out is a wonderful story, involving fantastic people and good pizza, but it’s not worth a pilgrimage over 30 minutes. When it comes to larger bar pie style pizza, Pizza Land actually has the edge. This is very good but doesn’t crack into the 8s unless they spice up the sauce and crisp up the dough.

Thin and crispy pie. Very very good pizza. Not quite bar pie but thin crust. Cheese/Sauce ratio was even for a pie this thin with a little more cheese than sauce. This pizza is best if eaten on site as cheese will congeal once pie is room temp and reheating will firm-up the slice-killing any flavor. Staff were kind and personable. Solid spot with full menu. Will definitely return if in the area. Side note: the fried chicken sold there is awesome.

It was a good thin pie yet it was not an 8.9. If you want an 8.9 go to New Haven

Took the 40min drive. When Dave gives a high score it’s for sure a must try. Tho the pizza didn’t disappoint I was expecting more as a 8.9 it fell on the mark for me. Still worth the drive nonetheless.

I originally ordered a plain and upside down slice. The pizza was so good I went back in to get a Buffalo chicken slice. In this review I will be talking about the plain slice. It was very good, did not skimp on the sauce. The sauce was not sweet which I like. This pizza had a ton of flop. The crust was crunchy, but not too crunchy, just the right amount. I can definitely see how Dave gave this place a 8.9.

Great pizza! The hot honey pepperoni pie is next level pepperoni. Always a friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

The gluten free pizza was amazing. The crust was crispy and everything about it was perfect. Very friendly staff.

Yes it’s thin and it’s lite. Good ratio of sauce, cheese and dough. May be very good reheated once it gets crispy. Good pie to try out. Tried a slice of Upside down thin Margherita and that is incredible so I would travel for that.
