First and foremost, this is an Irish bar, not a pizzeria. In the same way that you would not order corned beef and cabbage from an Italian restaurant, it’s probably not the best idea to order pizza from an Irish joint. Even though this pie doesn’t look too terrible, I can say without exaggeration, this is the absolute worst bar pie I’ve ever had in my entire life…unbelievably putrid pizza. With a horrific texture and consistency, the dough is bland and tasteless, equivalent to a cardboard cracker with the kind of crust you’d find on a freezer burned frozen pizza. Aside from being too thick and heavy, the cheese has an unpleasant flavor, as if provolone and cheddar were blended together with poor quality mozzarella. The texture and taste of the cheese is similar to a combination of Tombstone and Mama Celeste frozen pizza. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the sauce is essentially hot tomato ketchup baked into the pie. Revoltingly disgusting, this “pizza” is basically ketchup on a large cracker with cheap cheese melted atop. I’m sure this is a great bar with very good non-Italian food options; but their pizza is irredeemably bad, total trash that should be taken off the menu. Even at my drunkest, I’d have to pass on this pie. This is clearly a beer and wings joint, not a pizza place whatsoever.
