Coal Fire - Ellicott City

All the way around, it's a great pizza with good char from the coal fired oven. However, it did have some flop. Otherwise, it would be in the 8

For sure an above average pie. I can’t remember which sauce I ordered but it was the sweeter one and it was pretty solid. I liked the cook, could be a touch crispier to eliminate any flop but with a slight fold there was zero flop. Nice char on the crust. Gonna put this at 7.8 and I think that’s pretty fair. Bar looked nice but I don’t drink. Sprite was a perfect accompaniment.

The signature sauce is sweet and tasty. The dough is light and airy. Plenty of cheese The pie needed to be cooked a bit longer for some additional char. I’d have rated it higher with more char.

Coal Fire in name and appearance, but lacked the true coal crisp. I went with the signature pie that had an interesting mix of sweet tomato sauce and tang. Overall solid but a bit too much sauce and cheese resulting in substantial flop.

Decent crust and cheese, generous toppings, but there is flop and the sauce doesn’t quite hit the mark for me.

I screwed this one up. Asked for well done and I believe they over cooked it. Apparently they know how to cook pies here. Good flavors. True artisan style thin crust. Can't wait to try again. Next time I'm not Sayin nothing.

Got the standard 12 inch with classic sauce. Sauce is super sweet. Good charred underbelly and crust. Little on the greasy side. As the others have said, not enough cheese. What’s there was good though!

Looks better than I expected honestly. Idk if I didn’t get the right sauce order the spicy but think I got sweet. Should of got signature but was expecting much better still decent pizza

Sauce is very good. A bit greasy. Good crispy crust. Not bad.

GET that signature sauce

This pizza was interesting. The ingredients were solid. The sauce had a very good taste to it and the pizza was cooked well. However the pizza was to bready and did not have enough sauce and cheese.

Little flop, greasy, thin crust pizza. It’s baked by the fire. A solid neighborhood spot. It’s good but not somewhere I would travel out of the way to get.

Alright. Little different. Sauce is kinda sweet. Not sure if I'm into that. Cheese is buttery not too bad. Needs salt. Soft crust. Little weak.

Best pizza so far in Maryland. Thin crust, really good sauce, maybe could have cooked it a min longer but I’m nitpicking here. Haven’t had a better pizza in MD in the 8 year I’ve been here
