Colarusso's Coal Fired Pizza

Great taste and could go much higher w less flop.

If it had the crunch it would have been an 8.1. But the flop was harsh.

The round is delish flavor-wise but the pizza sat for a while before they gave it to me so the light crust was a bit soft and soggy, I’ll bet eaten at the restaurant it’d be way better Sicilian is meh I wouldn’t bother, fresh or not

There’s a lot of potential here but it just didn’t quite make it into the 8’s for me. It’s light and thin which is awesome. Next time, I might ask to get to well done, because it wasn’t crispy at all, despite the color. There’s a mix of provolone and Romano along with the mozzarella. That, unfortunately, makes it as Dave would say, “very strong”. A little too strong for your every week football pie. It’s very good but very distinct. Needs more crisp and more sauce and we might be able to get into the 8’s. Good not great. I will try it again in the future.

Got the Vodka and Sofia...both top notch! Well worth it! 🍕

Had the traditional pie then got a vodka pie. For coal fired it could be crispier. Its tasty but def up the crispiness.

Amazing Vodka Pizza

Coal fired pie! Awesome thin crispy undercarriage. Tons of mozzarella cheese. Lacking sauce and a little greasy. Overall very good pizza!

Right off the back the crust looks pretty doughy. Huge flop, pretty oily, crust is great and crispy despite its look and undercarriage looks good as well. Sauce is pretty unique. Overall, I think this is a great pizza, but it’s definitely not a pizza I could eat all the time given the unique sauce. Definitely a date pizza but I enjoyed it and would definitely recommend

Got recommended the Sofia Loren from a trustworthy pizza-savvy source. Worth the drive. Very unique coal-fired crust that somehow can be crunchy and chewy at the same time. Excellent blend of flavors. Good tang in the sauce.

This pizza could definitely be in the 9s but the cheese is really sharp tasting and that’s just not my cup of tea, the white pizza is a 7.5

The very best pizza Scranton area has to offer...coal fired, crust has unbelievable taste and nice balance of dough and crisp. The sauce is bottom line AMAZING, and the cheese brings this all together. I added meatball as a topping to mine and these too did not disappoint 🙌

Damn good wasn’t expecting this but asked to be left in a little longer and it killed!! Cheese incredible sauce is plentiful but not over the top and the crust is cooked perfect for coal fire! This is a comeback type pie for sure
