Review date 1/12/23. Nino Coniglio Pizza legend and champion has opened a new spot in Morristown and holy shit is it a spot!!!! The upside down Sicilian checks all the boxes of being one of the best pizzas. The work and effort he puts into the dough even I couldn’t comprehend and the product is a light pillow of a crust with an amazing pocketing on the bottom with tremendous crisp and flavor. The sauce, fresh af!! Rich in flavor, the perfect compliment and combo piled on top of the cheese that melts perfectly to the dough and then is topped by blends of hard cheese with fresh basil and oil. The place itself is so oldschool and Brooklyn I feel I need to take the F to get there. Everyone incredibly friendly and welcoming very family atmosphere and Nino is Nino, awesome guy I’m so thankful to have met and spent a few minutes talking pizza and learning a bit more!!!

Stop #7 PizzaMoon lunch. The crust is a 10/10 here. Sauce is to die for, just could use a bit more on ours. The cheese is real and flavorful! Husband says 100% in the conversation for the best pie you’ll ever eat and I agree that we will travel back to this place for more! Italian doughnuts, coffee and homemade root beer were finished with no problemo!

SO good, and cool spot! Sourdough crust? Yes please. It was soft AND crispy at the same time. How? I dunno, but it was very very good.

This is some of the best pizza I have had in awhile. The Brooklyn Old Fashioned and the Meatball & Ricotta both were in the 8’s!! Incredible.

Ordered the Brooklyn Pie (where the sauce is on top of cheese). The pizza had a good tangy sauce, with fresh basil, and pecorino cheese. The pizza was very expensive $26, a bit overpriced imo. The crust was firm (similar consistency with all trump flour) The crust didn’t wow me and that’s generally is what makes great pizza from good. Sauce was the best part for me.

Eye test - good not spectacular Ratio - dough is way to thick Execution - the taste is pretty good but the bake needed more. Towards the middle needs more time Dough - interesting taste but not spectacular. Needs more crunch. Too thick Cheese - not special. Slightly above average taste and texture. Maybe a bit soupy. Solid overall Sauce - nice flavor. No sweetness but very nice combination of spices added. Overall - no denying the pedigree. Dough certainly too thick. Taste is above average Haydn, after writing his second cello concerto said, “I try to combine unique yet simple ideas.” This is not Haydn worthy, this is not travel worthy, but it’s neighborhood worthy. Too good for bumbling Mets fans. Thankfully you’d never find parking.

SOLID Pie!! Very fresh tasting. Thin crust at the bottom. Thicker chewy crust. Sauce a little sweet. Only complaint is pie was a little greasy.

My daughter brought us a pie and to be honest, it was ok. Sauce didn’t have a lot of taste. Dough and cheese was good. Definitely not an 8 score IMHO.
