Dano's Pizza

I'm not from Columbia, but the general consensus is this is one of the best pizza joints in Columbia. The overall community rating doesn't match the narrative. The pizza needs time to rest. Totally agree first slice had a lot of flop (not a deal breaker for me as that doesn't impact the taste). I ordered a pepparoni w/ basil and the fact that they have basil just about places it in the 8 range. Fantastic pie, the crust is the only thing holding this pizza back from being in the 8.0 range. Long established pizza spot and is a really good pie. I encourage you to give it a try.

Pretty solid place, one of the best in cola.

Straight up large cheese. Sauce o taste is perfect. Could use more. Cheese on point. The crust to much flop for my liking. I bet getting a single slice crisp would be amazing. The sauce and cheese tasted like NY.

Probably the best pie in Columbia. I’d give it a higher score if I didn’t get pulled over on the way home writing this review bc I couldn’t wait to eat it.

Good cheese, good sauce. Crispy overall but still floppy in the middle. Nothing stands out about this pizza enough to put it in the 8s. Just good solid football pizza. Definitely the best pizza I’ve had in Columbia.

Cheese slice was pretty solid, good flavor. Sauce walks the line between sweet and tangy. 7.6 Bonus review buffalo chicken slice, decent slice that needed something extra to separate itself as a really good buffalo chicken slice. 6.9 Overall score 7.3

Cheese is good, crust is good. Not my favorite slice thiugh

Tastes good. Crust could have been a little crispier. Somewhat greasy. Big Colatown flop. Hard pressed to find a better pizza in the area. Would give it a 9.2 if comparing only to local pizza but don’t want out of towners to be disappointed so giving it a 2.5 point deduction for geography. 6.7. That’s a review.

Sorry we ate the whole pizza before we did the review, but slightly above average slice. Too much flop, too doughy, and the cheese became a slip n slide. Good taste, good environment.

Very greasy, very floppy. The sauce and cheese is good. Slightly above average bar pizza. The Sicilian is much better.
