Del Rossi's Cheesesteak & Pizza

What a great pizza!!! Dave portnoy needs pay them a visit. I made the mistake and got it delivered instead of getting it fresh. It’s most likely a 9.1 if I had it fresh.

My wife and I were told to stop by here by a colleague and boy it didn’t disappoint. Truly a hidden gem. Was a slow Sunday afternoon and they gave us this masterpiece of a pizza. Amazing bake on it. Quality ingredients. We finished the whole pie between the two of us.

How is this place never in the conversation of the best pizza in Philly? I live around the corner and this place pumps out some of the best pizza and cheesesteaks not only in the city but the f’ing country.

Extreme pedigree alert Spoiler- previous reviews are complete nonsense. This is simply food that’s better than most garbage out there, however, nothing I reviewed today is travel worthy, or even good. Eye test- undeniably good Ratio- fine and who cares Execution- baking is quite good, it’s just the ingredients, taste and texture are a giant nothing Sauce- I’m biased towards sweet. This is saccharine sweet. Gross Cheese- certainly more types of cheese than standard football. I’m a big fan of say, Beddia, which goes off the beaten path. This is 3-4 types of cheese that taste absolutely terrible. Has a funny, strong and rather vile flavor Dough- tasteless. Perfect crisp and baked to perfection. So what All that being said, I get why people like it. It’s dramatically different from standard neighborhood pizza. It is baked to perfection. Taste is just way off Cheese steak review- not reflected in app score- 7.2 Better that the tourist traps. So far from John’s Roast Pork it’s a joke. Meat has no taste, no fat and is dry. I like lean steak but ideally it would taste like something. Cheese and onions add nothing. Dave, what are you waiting for? If this place isn't your first stop the next time you are in Philly, then you are doing a disservice to pizza lovers around the country. Del Rossi's is hands down the top 3 pizza joints I've ever eaten. I've been to many spots in NJ and PA that you have rated very high including Delorenzo's, Conte's, and Papa's Tomato Pies. THIS PLACE CRUSHES THEM ALL!!! You need to check this place out! The vibe is awesome. The owner is mad chill. The employees are super nice. The cheese steaks are mouth watering. When I'm in Philly, it's Del Rossi's all the way!

Pizza here is top tier. The Philly blunt is a masterpiece.

Del Dossi's serves the best pizza! Picture this: the Long Hots pizza, a dazzling dance of onion, sausage, and a hint of honey, all on a crispy, thin crust. It's pizza simply delicious! Take my word for it and go try it out.

The regular cheese is incredible but the Houdini and the Brooklyn style are just a tad better. They are all great and some of the best slices I’ve ever had.

We drove down to try both the pizza and cheesesteaks. The pizza reviews were getting better and we figured somebody bought the place. We met the owner, Mish, and he does the dough. Guy is a master. The best dough I have ever had . The pizza has a similar feel to Angelo’s but it is lighter. The dough has more air. Yet at the same time it is crisp as hell. We ate it there which made a big difference. This is in my top 10 for sure and maybe top 5. The cheesesteak was solid as well. Liscios rolls. 7.9 on the cheeseteak.

Unreal experience. First time at this place after I saw it on Instagram and it won’t be the last! The staff is very nice and this pizza is out of this f’ing world.

Pizza is overshadowed by how good their cheesesteaks are imo. The pizza is really really solid though. Great flop, quality ingredients. Gotta try the Brooklyn style next time I’m back

Excellent pizza. Staff is amazing. I’m glad I found this place on instagram. Wish I lived closer so can have this every week! A hidden gem in the city, but I have a feeling not for long.

Jen recommended we order the Brooklyn and boy was that a good recommendation! They have some great service and even better pizza. Mr portnoy needs to pay a visit and put them on the map.
