Detriot style pizza company sent to Massachusetts. It is good but good for a pizza delivered from Detroit to Boston. Crust was great 👍

First off Detroit style deep dish is my favorite pizza. So I was driving around and I happened to stumble across this pizza joint named “Detroit Style Pizza” and said hey isn’t this the frozen pizza that Portnoy reviewed? So I had to give it a try, and they did not disappoint. Right when I tore a piece out I heard the crunch. Then I took a bite and another bite. Every bite I felt the crunch. Their sauce tastes great and their cheese tastes great. In my opinion they are better than Jets and Buddy’s Pizza. They might be worth the 30 min drive. Buying at their store is cheaper than ordering from their website as a frozen pizza delivery.

Pretty good pie. Not quite as good as Dave’s frozen pizza score made it out to be but he probably had COVID-19 brain.

Really good pie. Good sauce and cheese. Really liked the crispy edges. Only thing I'd say is that the bottom could be a little crisper.

So....maybe frozen was the way to go. Drove 25 min one way for this. I was just ok, I’m not crazy about Detroit style but Dave gave it a good score so thought why not? Outer crust was crispy for a 1/2 bite then felt like I was eating fluffy bread with cheese and sauce was just nothing to write hope to mom about. Also got the GF pizza and bread....it was the same thing!! Hint- when I order gf bread w/ sauce and gf cheese pizza might be a good thing to let me know it’s the same thing.

This is another quarantine pizza review all the way from Ohio. I ordered these Detroit Style Pizza from Goldbelly. They arrived cold, not frozen and packed with two ice packs. It was recommended to bake thawed pizzas on a baking sheet at 375 degrees for 15 minutes and allowing to rest a couple of minutes which is what I did. I had the Motown Meat Supreme. It had sausage, pepperoni, ham, and apple wood bacon. Crust is thick an hearty with a lot of crunch, especially on the outer edge. Cheese was quite good and the sauce is spooned on. I found the sauce to be quite tomatoey (is that even a word?!). Good overall flavor. Very good pizza overall. Outstanding. These might cost more than something from the frozen section at the grocery store, but they are well worth it! Definitely would recommend.

Shipped to MN, we ordered pepperoni but real sure this is just cheese but ok... Crust is good and lots of crisp, but I would have to say overall not enough sauce on it. Not bad, just not the best I have had.

With COVID and it being a weekend, they were slammed and it took 2 hours for my takeout order to be ready. BUT it was still the best Detroit style pizza I’ve ever had - the crunch of the crust is amazing! Well worth waiting 2 hrs for it.

First post on one bite, this place did not disappoint. Highest rated place in the area and it met expectations!

Slammed 4 slices of the thin crust. Very crisp a little saucy but a nice slice

Crust is incredible, sauce adds a subtle sweetness. Very good pie, easily the best deep dish so far.
