This will be my highest pizza review I’ll possibly ever give. I was pleasantly surprised that 11 hours south of the original, they cook it exactly the same. One of the stranger slices you’ll ever see, but crunchy, inexpensive and the cheese is to die for. Also is one of the best reheat-able slices you’ll ever have the next day....if their is any left.

Solid pizza - Ohio Valley style with the crust and sauce baked with cold cheese added at the end. Solid under carriage with a crispy crust. Cheese melted alright however trying to have a piece later on became a challenge because only the crust underneath was sliced. Overall solid pie and it’s hard to find good pizza in this area so 7.9 score due to limited competition.

I'm from NY and I did a tour with my brother of all the best from Dave's reviews. I did get the cheese melted in the oven. This is pizza has it all. Crisp bottom, great flavor. If you are visiting Myrtle Beach this is a must if you are ordering pizza. Awesome and unique oven also.

It was like a square breadstick you would get from Pizza Hut. Even the sauce tasted like it was previously frozen.

Very different than what I normally get as far as style goes. Super crisp, thick crust. Good sauce, but wasn’t a fan of the pep, tasted cheap. Like the idea of fresh cheese on top after it bakes.

“Ohio style”?, which is cold cheese after it’s cooked. Expect lot of cheese, not my preference. Sauce and crust is good but the balance is off.

Very interesting sensation with the cold chz and crispy crust. Lost its luster after a little while, sauce OK. Crust had a nice crisp.

Very interesting. It’s a little different, but that’s what I like about it and keeping to their roots. Doing it the same way since 1945. Great sauce , unique crunch and texture. I bought slices, I’m sure that took away from it compared to whole pizza fresh out of the oven. I can see that being in the 8’s.

Very different than what I am used to. Thought cold cheese on pizza would be weird which it was but it tasted great. Liked it a lot more than I thought i would.

I wanted to check out the “Best in Myrtle Beach Pizza” and This joint gets good reviews. Very good pizza here. I don’t know if it’s the best. Solid 8.3

Dicarlo’s in Myrtle Beach ( Surfside area) After many attempts of trying to find a pizza in MB that wasn’t a chain or gross, we tried Dicarlo’s a few years back. An Ohio valley favorite for many years, they set up shop at the beach. They only have the square, 16x16 or a 4 cut. With out a doubt the best pizza in the state. Not to thick for a square with the right amount of sauce and cheese. No drip, no flop. Crust is always consistent with the taste and crispness along with the exact amount of sauce and cheese to make a very good pie. Served cold cheese or original. Get the cold cheese. This is not a rookie score. It’s that good.
