Diego's Pizza

Expectations were low coning in, but this was a good pizza. I would have preferred more crisp, but thats just me. Good sauce taste.

By far the hardest place, pizza wise, to find. Read the other review and you’ll know what I mean. That being said, it’s really good pizza, floppy and greasy, but good.

One of the more bizarre restaurant experiences I’ve encountered. Diego’s is in a bar, in a Mexican restaurant (Joseph’s). When I say it’s in the bar, I don’t mean that it’s a bar that’s served pizza; it’s a separate business that’s inside the bar.....and the bar happens to be in the back of a Mexican restaurant. It’s like Russian nesting dolls of food and drink. My experience came after burning many calories trying not to die of hypothermia in the Blue Hole, so my hunger may skew my score. Once we got past the bizarreness of the businesses, we found solid pizza and cheap drinks (locals were super nice too). May be the only game in town. Certainly the best pizza I’ve ever had in a bar, in a Mexican restaurant.
