Thin crust review:
Initial impression- just a hair above average, and maybe not after some thought.
Sauce- at first it seemed ok, but gave it more careful consideration and the chain quality, non-homemade standardized jarred foolishness jumps out. It’s garbage.
Cheese- no redeeming quality
Dough- nothing special
Seasoning- way overdone, who asked for nine pounds of hot pepper flakes and oregano! Not me.
Execution - reasonable
Ratio- poor, too much cheese
J. Edgar Hoover once said, “If you’re serious about investigating crime, don’t trust anyone.”
I don’t trust chains, that’s for darn sure.
What’s funny about this pie is that the taste isn’t hideous. You need a minute to meditate and realize how wrong this is on so many levels. As much as I hate chains, I can’t destroy this with a low score. It qualifies as pizza. But it is pure and profound nonsense. Any local shop is better, and economically the right thing to do. I’m ashamed of myself. I promise, back to real pizza.
Tough loss for Xavier tonight. They will bounce back. Best of luck in the NCAA tournament.
