Dough Bros Pizzeria & Sub Shop

Needed some pizza after the concert at house of blues, and Dough Bros was the closest place open after 11. With a close time of 11:30, I scheduled my pickup at 11:15 to be safe. I got 3 slices; a pepperoni, a mushroom, and a "carnevino", which includes pepperoni, sausage, bacon, "soppressata", red chile, and fresh basil. At about $26, this is pretty expensive, but it is in a prime location in Chicago. The undercarraige of the crust was cooked well done, but still pretty floppy. The outside crust is definitely where the "dough bros" comes in. The pizza is fairly greasy, and the cheese is around average quality, but has a nice golden brown to it. The toppings all taste great, especially the mushrooms, and are the highlight of the pizza. I want to rate the sauce, but there is barely any there! Dave gave it a 7.1, and i find this a very fair score. I'll give it an extra .2, both because they are open late, and because they offer slices.
