I have finally found an outstanding pizzeria is San Antonio. Reminiscent of New Haven/NYC style Napoletana pizza, this pie and restaurant might be the best in SA. The pizza has all the qualities of a great Napoletana pie (besides the fact that there was no bacon), but what’s holding holding it back is it’s overall taste. For some reason it just didn’t wow me like the big names in the north east do. If anything it may be due to a newer oven (as opposed to hundred year old ovens in the North), but I’m not sure. Overall, I highly recommend it as it is a great pizza, just not enough taste to edge it into the 9s. 8.9, that’s the review.
