Good name of the restaurant because that’s all they got here. The dough flavor is spot on. However ton of flop, standard cheese, standard sauce, standard score. Nothing to complain about. Straight down the middle pizza.

Swinging through SA for the night, this was pretty solid. Good char, nice chew, little bit of crisp around the edges, good flavor to the sauce. If the bottom of the pie was crispier, it would be in a different league. But it’s pretty pale. Little pricey @ $18 for a 12” pie, but good nonetheless. The pepperoni pie doesn’t really need the oregano they put on it. I’d come back next time to dine in & try the Margherita fresh out the oven.

I would usually go with cheese or margarita. I went with pork love and I loved it. Great pizza. Not much Alamo flop. Ate the whole pie. 8.6

Ordered the bufala margharita . Crust was a 4; The only taste was the char. The cheese was a 6; real buffalo mozzarella, not so sure.The sauce was a 1; thin, runny, and tasteless. Over all the biggest disappointment of the day. Don't believe the hype.

I have finally found an outstanding pizzeria is San Antonio. Reminiscent of New Haven/NYC style Napoletana pizza, this pie and restaurant might be the best in SA. The pizza has all the qualities of a great Napoletana pie (besides the fact that there was no bacon), but what’s holding holding it back is it’s overall taste. For some reason it just didn’t wow me like the big names in the north east do. If anything it may be due to a newer oven (as opposed to hundred year old ovens in the North), but I’m not sure. Overall, I highly recommend it as it is a great pizza, just not enough taste to edge it into the 9s. 8.9, that’s the review.
