What even is this??i asked for it well done. Fine- it didn't come well done but the cheese wasn't even melted. It was a thick layer of uncooked salty cheese on top of more salt. The bottom was very soft and mushy. All i tasted was salt. A thick uncooked layer of salt. What happened to them? I used to order from them back in the day and they were soo good. Then they got too salty and so i stopped ordering from them and i figured i would give them another try today since its been too long and now they are still salty & a undercooked slob of more salt on top of a mushy salty piece of mush bread. I'm annoyed. My rating is usually high because i love pizza but i def don't love this one. Never again

Alright Elegante. Cousins of Brothers on Staten Island. Cousin of the great Giorgio at Pizzeria Giove. Got two fucking pies because I was feeling extra fucking fat today. Got a round and a square. The round is straight up classic Brooklyn pizza. It’s a big slice, a little sloppy, but it’s hot and good. I would give that a 7.6. It’s my type of pizza. Now to the Siciliano. This is how a square pie should be done. It has a good distribution of cheese. It isn’t doughy or cakish like other places. If this was my local pizza and they were pumping out square pies like this, it would be hard press for me to not say they have the best squares around. Now unfortunately that isn’t true. But they are in the conversation for it. I tell ya between Brothers, Elegante, and Giove, do they have a hot divorced Aunt hanging around? I want in this family. Prick my finger let me join the la Familia!

Average slice nothing to write home about with so many gems close by, but it does the job.

This pizza definitely needed to stay in the oven just a couple more minutes I feel like it was definitely rushed which is going to hurt the score other than that pretty good flavor but this pizza has tons of flop I’m gonna put it back in the oven for a few minutes💯

This score is for the square pizza. Was definitely overdone but had good flavor. The regular is a 6.4. Covered in oil would not recommend it. I agree with other posters that many of the scores for this place are bogus to get Dave to give them some free publicity but I also have seen this place mentioned as a pizza place to go to so who knows. I personally wouldn’t go back.

The flavor of sauce wasn't for me. So I can see why people rate it higher if that's your style. The crips and ratios were good but I personally wouldn't go back. Unique sauce

If you’re wondering why this pizza is rated so high by the community, it’s because the reviews are littered with a bunch of bogus 10s & high 9s. I’m here to tell you this is not elite pizza; the scores are artificially inflated. This pie straddles a fine line between well done & overcooked. There’s nothing creamy about the cheese, no lava-like flow, just very hardened and greasy. The sauce and cheese do have a lot of tang though. Very solid flavor, just needs to be pulled from the oven a little sooner. The dough is somewhat thick & filling, very firm with a very crispy crust, obviously from the amount of time it spent in the oven. Nothing special though, this pizza is a dime a dozen. I’m giving it a 6.9 cause the rest of these b.s. high-rated reviews can go F themselves.

This review is for the square ONLY. I have to say, this was a nice surprise. I haven’t been here in years. Back in the day, this was the after-Alpine spot before work. Nice amount of cheese, a light crust, but excellent taste.

This is a great pizza! Great cheese great sauce great bread!!! There’s only 2 things I wish were better. The first is that the pizza is way too oily which leaves you with a sluggish feeling after. And the second is that the pizza is very salty. If you can get over those two things you have your self a great pizza

No flop not greasy. Great flavor.

I've had it fresh before and it was a little better but I've orderd it delivery a few times and it's been undercooked.

*Large Cheese Pie Review* I had this pie delivered (not too far from where I was staying) so that most likely made a difference on this review. I ate 3 slices... - Pizza was warm - Large slices - Very cheesy (great quality cheese) - Very Oily - Very soggy and floppy with the exception of the crust - Sauce was good (when I was able to taste it) - All of the above being said it actually still has a pretty good flavor
