Rock solid slice. Good tang. Some flop. Great cheese to sauce ratio. One of the better slices I’ve had on the west coast.

Little flop in the middle, but only the first bite is missing the strong crisp the rest of the slice has. Dough is a little more dense than others, but easy to overlook when it’s this tasty. Less greasy than other ones I’ve seen for this level of crisp. $30 is no joke though

Great place, great pizza. Crowded, large interior with king shared tables and an extra room in the back. The pizza has tremendous character - well done smoked crunch yet soft and chewy crust. The cheese is baked on solid. Only 18” pizzas here, which is limiting.

The speciality pizza is called the White Dog. Much better than my Pink Whitney’s bredren rude boy The Whit Dog. It is amazing what an “E” can do. Easy 8.4 on that one

On the greaser side. The dough was a mixture or crispy underneath and softer on top where the sauce is.

For the Detroit style pizza.... fail. The sauce they use has a good basic flavor, the burnt ends helped the score. But overall don’t waste the money.

Thick pan style is better then the thin New York style here. Pan style has more sauce and more cheese. The ingredients are fresh and tasty. Dough is very good. Corner slice is very toasty. Still can use more sauce.

100%, hands down the best pizza in the area. Only place that rivals it for me is Rocco’s in culver, but I think this has the edge. Great pie.

Lots of LA flop, the cheese has a nice chew to it and the salt level is nice, the sauce is on the tangy side which I love and the crust is pretty good. If this was in NYC it would be a 6.2 but in California it’s a 7.4. That’s a review.

So not over satisfied with this pizza. It’s super greasy with no crunch. Maybe a little longer in the oven. Also wish is had a crust. It’s my favorite part and was missing from this experience. Will give another try but barley above adverse for me.
