Ok , Frankie -> we are at Fanzorellis (pizza review time feb 10th 8:15pm)... as our west end of Toronto pizza reviews come to an end we have been trying to come here for weeks and it is always closed -> it is one of those places that only opens for a few hours in the evening -> and they are used to being really packed at this time —> and they are definitely known as a fancy Italian place in Brampton and their reputation precedes themselves—> the ingredients that they use are the freshest and their food is incredible and even though Fanzorelli’s is just sick of this Covid shit — they have been Keeping guests safe that has always been top priority even before Covid -> so this is now more true over recent months as they strive to serve you authentic Italian —> using the freshest & finest ingredients creating mouthwatering, (made to order) dishes-> The problem is they’re always closed because they are a fancy place but the pizza is not a fancy pizza-> one bite everyone knows the rules -> it’s not a Neapolitan style pizza or a fancy pizza like that!!! —> it’s a true authentic fancy Italian pizza with the boccinni cheese -> fresh light sauce -> little pesto kick -> their margarita does come with tomatoes -> it was OK -> the tomatoes were the same as the sauce -> so there is no contrast in taste-> Sauce was borderline marinara sauce —> so the pizza gives off a little bruschetta vibe-> undercarriage was perfect —> fresh out of the oven the pie cheese lava city ... ( some would call it over crispy Frankie - We wouldn’t - some would - We wouldn’t)... (1 to 10 / one bite / everyone knows the rules / bite it / score it -> 1 thru 10 -> 7.3 (professional score) This Pizza had all the makings of an 8.3 but it was a quiet night , Covid , no one’s calling and the pie was left in the oven a minute to long-> it didn’t flop for a reason-> then after when the cheese firmed that extra minute was noticed —> we will be back 100% and for a lot more than Pizza -> iconic restaurant-> great Italian food -> and anyway they cook their pizza it’s 7.2 (it’s that good)-> that’s a review!
