Fat Baby's Pizza & Subs

Just don’t get your hopes up. Too much cheese. Sauce was boring. Dough was dried out and lacked moisture to really sing. But the island has awful pizza so this is really great considering.

Excellent. Best on HHI. Also, for the gluten dodgers, the cauliflower crust was best I’ve ever had. There was actually crunch on the slices.

Very good pizza. Very good crust, solid toppings, tangy sauce. Not much flop, but that’s likely because it had so many toppings.

Honestly, the low reviews are right. Not worth it. I ordered li hi cheese and there was a truckload on it. It just wasn’t worth it. Disappointed. AND, they now sneakily charge you a fee to use your credit card to pay. No thanks. Bad decision by the owner to implement that.

Ordered the Fat Baby pizza. All around great pie. Good variety of toppings. Could use a little more punch and a little more time in the oven.

Cheesy, no flop, perfect amount of sauce, overall good slice

Cheese is thick. Crust is good. No flop. Cheesy.

Went with their PMS pie (pep, mushroom, sausage) from their specialty recommendations. Slightly greasy but overall solid. Crisp undercarriage, cheese and topping distribution was spot on.

Way too greasy. Tough crust. Sauce ok. Way too much flop cheese falls off when you pick it up.

I don’t eat cheese only need the meats everybody knows the rules. Appearance is better than taste but it’s still good stuff. Definitely prefer the thin crust. Great vibe would definitely come back!

Good for the south… coming from CT where we have some of the best pizza on the planet, I didn’t expect much. This was better than I anticipated but still not great. They need a higher moisture content in the dough, higher oven temps and they need to use mozzarella on the pizzas, not a mozzarella cheddar blend. Better tomato would go a long way as well.

It’s okay. Certainly one of the better locations around. Crust was good, sauce and cheese were a bit bleh. Overall ok pizza though nothing to remarkable.

Re-review, I get this pie once a year on vacation. Still a very solid pie. Could have been cooked a touch longer but that’s how the cookie crumbles. Gives them your business. Great folks!

Not bad for outside NJ

Have eaten here many times but never went with the straight cheese pie. Best on the Island. Their signature “Fat Baby” pie/slice is usually the go to.
