Fat Boy's Pizza

Heavy flop heavy grease. Decent crunch on the crust. Sauce tastes like an odd combination of marina and ragu pasta sauce.

in my personal opinion, might be the best NY style ive had in NOLA so far. Good flop, good crust, great sauce and cheese to my preference. my gf gave this an 8.8

On my quest to find the best pizza restaurants in New Orleans metro area. I found that this onesie the lowest so far. To be fair, it isn’t worst pizza I had, but it’s far from the best that it so likes to claim. The inside is nice, the bar area is good, but the pizza itself is just huge. That’s the only impressive thing about it. It is the biggest slice you we’ll get here in Metairie/Nola area. Taste is mediocre at best.

It’s big. Garlic flavor. Crust not crispy enough.

Slices are huge. Got a regular cheese. Fair amount of grease. Sauce has a lot of oregano. Fine for watching football and pounding beers.

Not a bad slice. Interesting flavor, pretty greasy though, and kinda hard to work with. Definitely have to eat it with a fork and knife. I feel like I could enjoy it without anything additional, but adding red peppers and yes, -oregano-, make the flavors come out. I would've gone 6.9 but the atmosphere and oregano shakers honestly pushed it up a point for me. Not my favorite slice, but I'm glad to have experienced it :)

The novelty of it all kind of takes away from the focus on scoring. It’s definitely not bad, definitely not my favorite. MONSTER slices. Nap time after.

The service was great and the atmosphere was amazing. The pizza on the other hand was under cooked and very greasy. Tasted like chain pizza.

100 percent flop, no crisp, undercooked, massive bubbles. Was expecting a lot better after seeing reviews from others. Flavor was decent, right amount of sauce, little heavy on the cheese (normally add extra cheese as a topping, won’t need to do that here) crust needs some improvements. The pizza in the glass box looked disgusting I would highly recommend ordering fresh. Also ordered a slice of the buffalo chicken pizza. Almost no buffalo sauce and still had red sauce on it. Far from a true buffalo chicken slice. I don’t know the story behind this place but I got the vibe of pre made doughs, pre shredded cheese. Could be wrong on those but watching the perfectly symmetrical flats of dough being run through a press didn’t impress me.

Doughy New York style pizza. Lots of flop, thin, cheesy, light on sauce. I was a fan, my husband was not. My type of pizza.

Pizza has decent flavor but do yourself a favor dont get the slice it's way to big it gives you to much work just trying to handle the slice order a 16inch cheese

Logistical, this pizza is a mess to eat. The crust broke off from the rest of the pizza and when I folded the slice, it broke into several pieces. That being said, the cheese was great!
