Rarely do I rereview a spot especially one as good as Federicis but seeming as I’ve grown over the years my early ones need some updating. Since 1946 this place has been making one of the best thin crust pizzas in the state and dates back over a century as a restaurant. The crust is flakey, pocketed and well done like all bar pies should be. The cheese melds with the small amount of sauce creating one of the best culinary flavors in the game with so much of an intense “bite” to it. This is a pizza with so much character it’s no wonder why the Boss himself said it was his favorite spot. It’s been years since I last had this pie and if anything it’s better than I remember, it takes me back to what pizza reviews are all about and my beginnings as this style was what I lived for before branching out into into other foodventures. This place is absolute top tier, legendary status pizza that has to be tried!!!
