Pizza Review
Wanted to highlight the Detroit style since it doesn’t get as much love. This is the best Detroit style I’ve ever had in Illinois. Let’s just say it’s better than Pequods in the city. Big claim. It was cooked absolutely perfectly. Caramelized edges had just enough of that char but not ashy. It’s flavor was fresh and everything mixed very well together. Admittedly this is a heavy pizza. It’s bready. If that’s your thing or want to switch it up, you have to try this. Recommend eating in, not carry out. Bonus, the Neapolitan style is also very very good and light, but comparable to some other top rated artisanal spots in the area. Highly recommended! Also the chicken parm is great if you don’t want pizza.
