Fiori’s Pizza

I try pizza everywhere I go. Just searching for the best. This has come close , literally the 2nd best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. It used to be 1st place till I tried Luigi’s in Brooklyn. But I will one day go back to San Diego just to have some again. Please do not skip out on this spot

Overall solid pizza. Crust is on point and was cooked to perfection. I would have preferred a bit more sauce, but would just add a little extra next time. Solid slice.

Solid slice. The sauce did it for me. Had a good sweet tang to it and the crust was solid with no flop. Definitely a winner here.

Fiori's is a solid pizza place in San Diego and was my go-to favorite. The old location was inside a liquor store a couple blocks east of where they are now. Pandemic closed that liquor store and they broke free and opened a dedicated pizza parlor after a looong build out. They say they moved the oven and all the key equipment so my hopes were high. It's just not as thin and fresh as it used to be. Kinda basic dough now. I'm sad my favorite pizza in town doesn't make it the same way anymore, but don't get me wrong it's great pizza and a great guy working the oven.
