Yo!! You can fold their Neapolitan inspired Margherita like a real New Yorker; this ain’t some sloppy mess of a pizza that you have to roll up or eat with a knife and fork. It’s the Neapolitan pizza that el Presidente has been asking for - it’s wood fired at 900+ degrees, cooked long enough and made with only premium ingredients - the dough, the sauce, cheese and basil all work perfectly together. It’s the perfect pie - their Margherita would be my death row meal.
This place is a roadside gem with pizza and food that kicks ass. Their appetizers and salads are worth the trip all by themselves but grab a pie or two and it will be one of the best meals that you’ve had in a long time. They have 8 or 10 pies on the menu and their menu changes weekly. Their Marinara and Margherita’s are both must tries and my regular go-tos. They’ve been recently making a Margherita with Buffalo mozzarella as a special on their menu.
It’s BYOB and great pizzas, what’s not to like? Just read the rules before you order, to-go orders are frowned upon. Their pizzas are best right out of the oven.
