Rookie score for a unique occasion. One does not come to NOLA expecting any worthy pizza at all. However, upon seeing an 8+ from DP, my stomach flutters a bit. Let me say, I am extremely impressed. This could pass as a serious NY/NJ slice - great crust/undercarriage, great sauce, and overall an extremely solid bite. Not sure if it’s an 8.1 on par with some heavy hitters back home, but the rarity so far away from pizza headquarters warrants a deserved trip to the 8s.

Really solid pizza! Pizza sauce flavor was lighter than I’m used to but not a bad thing. Great atmosphere! Want to try a whole pie next time.

Dave was spot on with this, really good crust and undercarriage. Nice sauce as well. Would have like a pinch more cheese. But that's a nitpick. Really good.
