Francesco's Pizza & Restaurant of Edison NJ

Francesco’s serves up a pie that feels like a throwback - not necessarily in a bad way, but definitely familiar like the pizza I grew up eating and average at best. The crust held up well with no flop, which was a nice surprise. That structure helped balance out what was otherwise a fairly oily and cheesy slice overpowering the sauce which was on the light side. A little more balance would’ve gone a long way.
