This is mega massive, strip mall football pizza: soft, doughy, heavy & thick…a monster filling pie. Lacking crisp, the dough is fairly soft, slightly floppy, with a decently crunchy crust. Not incredibly tasty, but better than average dough flavor. The cheese is melty and oozy, better than generic taste and texture, but not by much. A notch above standard pizza cheese blends, it’s thick and just tasty enough, but certainly nothing special. The sauce is rather underwhelming; lost in the shuffle of the thick dough and heavy cheese, it just doesn’t measure up. Not particularly sweet and lacking any punch or kick, the sauce is boringly basic with a disappointingly average flavor. More volume and some spice would liven up the sauce significantly. Despite a heavier than normal flow, the grease is somewhat manageable but definitely infiltrates on the flavors of the cheese and sauce. Overall, this is heartily heavy, solid strip mall football pizza. Not a bad pie, not especially great, but it’ll fill you up for sure and satisfy your pizza craving.
