Franco's Pizza

Good and crisp tonight. Not a sweet slice. More cheesy and savory!

Pretty solid pie here. Not much of a crisp crust. Sauce is ok, cheese quantity and flavor is good. You’re not going to rave about it but you won’t call it bad pizza either. Standard.

Just an average tasting slice. It wasn’t bad but just average cheese sauce and flavor. However....it had some crisp to the whole slice and good crust.. so we have it a slightly better then average score. Very little grease and no flop

Alright so unfortunately Franco’s was closed down for a few months in the summer/early fall...but cruising by today I noticed they were back open and was pumped to grab a slice. I’m legitimately running out of places to try in certain areas of Philly. In terms of the slice...looks wise... perfect. A big slice for just under $3 and when I pick up a slice, I always hope it looks like this. Thin, good balance with the cheese and sauce... and the taste delivered. A good bite to the cheese and the sauce complimented well. Minimal grease...Plenty of crisp and the crust had some flavor too it as well. I’m right on that fence between high 7’s and low 8’s...and even though it’s a bit higher than the community, I feel like the average needs to be pulled up a bit. Maybe I got a great slice...or maybe they’re doing things different now after the renovations...if you’re in the area, it’s worth the trip.

Lot of flop. Lot of grease. I like cheese, but too much cheese. The sauce tasted good although it was minimal. Just your average neighborhood pizza. The garlic knots are worth mentioning though. They were an 8.5

My piece had some flop, a lot of grease, good cheese but too much and not enough sauce the ratio was off. The little bit of sauce I did have was good but not enough. 6.3 that’s a review.

Solid neighborhood slice. zero flop great crisp. sauce had a real nice hint of sweetness. The type of pizza you order on a Friday night

Alright Frankie!! We’re somewhere deep in .....Fishtown?? I don’t know. Deep in the East part of the city. Great place, awesome guy at the counter. Pizza was good. Above average. Football pizza. Rookie score- 7.0
