Good flavor and undercarriage. Center could have been more crispy

Not as good as the OG location, but still an above average pie for the DMV

Wow. Had high expectations but that was cafeteria pizza. Arrived super undercooked, basically no undercarriage or char. Super floppy. Probably just got a bad pizza based on other reviews, but super disappointed. Salad sucked too. Had clearly been sitting out, soggy lettuce and cucumbers.

Solid slice. Would get again.

Not as good as the original but close . Great pizza I recommend extra sauce to compliment this great pie . Great charred crust and great cheese and pepperoni. Nice undercarriage and great staff .

12" Pepperoni. Nice crisp undercarriage. Great flavor. My only, quasi complaint is that it was a little greasy but that was because of the pepperoni. The pepperoni was awesome though and well worth the little bit of grease. Great staff, great pie. Overall just an excellent experience. Highly recommend if you have never had it. This location is not as good as the flagship in New Haven but definitely worth a visit.

Review #💯 - You shouldn't be able to open locations 100s of miles away from the original and score in the mid 8s. But I don't know what to tell you, it's delicious, perfect ratios, tangy cheese, slightly sweet and fresh tasting (who knows if it is) sauce, amazing chew on the crust. Just a great bake, and a great bite. Annoying that I have to rate a 'chain'esque secondary location this high but I cannot lie to myself: it's that good. Also note, the small slices always make you eat too much - it's always "just one more" and never "my brotha in Christ you already had 15".

Ah Frank Pepe’s.. expectations were sky high but knew to be realistic as it’s not one of the original. Still a great pizza but it did feel like there was something missing in the sauce

Not the original so I think that’s what this score reflects. Thicker than I feel like the original is (crust wise). Sauce was underwhelming. Cheese was good. Not bad overall.

Wife - 7.8 , myself 8.1 New Haven def better but for being new and on away turf this pizza slaps. Bonus pepperoni - good crispy cups def worth a half pepperoni.

I've been to 3 different Frank Pepe pizza joints. They're all excellent. Whatever his system is for training pizza chefs is, it works.

I’ve eaten Pepe’s many times before but this was awful. The bottom of the crust was burnt. Had a very hard time biting into the crust. Waiter said all of our pizzas are that way. I said you would be out of business if they were all like that.

Had to see what all the hype is about and definitely worth traveling a bit for. No flop, dough was flavorful and cheese and toppings were excellent. Two things that would have sent my rating into the stratosphere. The sauce could have used a little something. The pepperoni definitely helped it. The other would be the crust was black and almost inedible in some spots. I understand that's coal fire but I prefer to be able to eat the crust. I know I'm nitpicking, but still a great pizza. And that's a review.

Solid crust. Maybe on the thick side for New Haven style but sauce is money. Cheese needs a little salt. Top 3 Maryland pizza for sure.

I don’t know how well this stacks up to the original. Honestly I felt the crust was a little thicker and chewier than I expected. There was a bit of flop and less crunch as well. Maybe I had expectations set too high hearing this style is some of the best pizza in the country. Very good but possibly overrated?
