Just ok. This pizza doesn’t come close to the quality and perfection of Frank Pepe’s in New Haven. Very doughy and floppy.

Quite a bit of grease which made the pie floppy, sauce was fantastic but also the dough was a bit soft in the crust.

ALWAYS good! Crispy thin crust, great sauce, perfect cheese ratio. Went with peppers onions and hot cherry peppers today 🤤

Ordered Large Classic well done. Crisp, go flavor and no grease, very good✌️

Could have been cooked a little more. Got the pepperoni. Love the cheese flavor and salty dough. The sweet-ish sauce could still use a touch more distinct flavor.

It’s just not what it once was. Ever since Pepe’s began expanding to different places in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Florida they have not been as good. I got a large meatball and a large salad and paid $50!!!!!! Not worth it. The pizza had flop, was doughy and the sauce didn’t have a lot of flavor. Clearly they are living off their name and past reputation. I think Frank Pepe would be embarrassed.

Not sure where these 9s came from, but definitely not up there. Decent pizza nothing crazy, best part would be the cheese. First and last time.

Not as thin as I anticipated, but still light and airy. Crust had notable flavor with a fine balance of sauce to cheese ratio.

I can’t wait to slam a cold slice down in a few moments…but my rating is going to be off of our fresh pizza pie today at 1:25 pm. REALLY GOOD. NOT A 9. And darn, I wanted it to be. Just way too much galoppy flop. Galoppy flop is “way too much flop” when it doesn’t have to be…it brick oven for Pete’s sake… The story is they reconstruct these “Brick Ovens” but human nature takes over over time I’m sure. No pizza can be the same. And this one has a great crust, a great taste; light and tangy smooth in the sauce, cheese great, GREASE there but perfectly hidden (it does NOT wreck the taste); thin and subtly bubbly….crust. Really good. Highest score yet for me. But no Shangri-La… A 9 is out there? Is it Sally’s❓

Great Pizza but I am never coming here again. My skin has been burned but my passion for pizza has never been higher.
