One of the best I’ve ever had. Tough to decide if johns on bleeker is better. This pizza actually tasted better with pepperoni. Something with the oils mixing and the tanginess of the pepperoni make it taste better. Love the slightly burned crust, not too much. Sauce is what it’s all about. Soft, smooth and a bit thinner han most...but not too liquid. It all mixes together perfectly. The dough is a bit chewy. I drove 2 hours for this pizza 3 times. One of the best ever

The only thing that could beat Pepe's Pizza would be if Jesus Christ himself came down from the heavens and made a pie. The best pizza in the world, and the superior of the "big three" in New Haven.

Best Pep/Sausage I had while in New Haven. Pie was crispy,.crunchy and overall good flavor. Some of the crust was a bit burnt but feel that it added to the flavor lobe the way the Pizza had toppings thrown on as well. Definitely old school and solid pie.

I really enjoyed it. Not sure what I would do different to male it even better. No flop great tastes and it moves super fast even though there's a line. Pizza gets there quick

Pepe’s is always on point for the sauce, the cook was nice, it’s an iconic landmark for New Haven and always looking to stand tall next to its rival a block down.
