One of the joys I got during the summer of 2020, was stopping at Pepe’s after bowling league every week. My team and I made the trek from Bayside, Queens once a week for league and for Pepe’s. Each of us getting our own pie. This pizza reminds me so much of one of my favorite places in NY, John’s on Bleecker. The perfect amount of sauce, cheese and crispness. Everything about this pizza is excellent.

Great pie! You’re gonna want to try this signature pie. One of the best in the area. Nice crisp with lots flavor.

Really greasey. Chewy in the middle and really crisp at the crust. Not as good as New Haven but leagues ahead of most others

Very good pizza. Sauce not quite as tangy as I expected, but the crust was great and the cheese was great too. I’d imagine the original in New Haven is probably better.

Frank Pepe Pizzeria is an experience to be had. The KING of New Haven style Apizza and CHAMPION of all Pizza spots. From the original in New Haven, Mohegan Sun, Fairfield and on...the crust, cheese, sauce, all combine together to make the best pizza in the country. My only gripe with them is consistency. Every now and then I’ll have a pie with a little too much cheese for my liking. However when it’s made right....it’s the GOAT.

Pepe’s margarita, tried a second location same perfection. A perfect pizza, sauce, cheese & crust are out of this world. I’ll never give a pie a 10 but this is as close as you will ever get.
