Great crisp. The cheese is very tasty. The 100 year old coal oven is fire. Great crisp!!

Marghareta pizza was amazing! Saucy and flavorful with a crisp crust.

Very average pizza, top crust was a little too crispy, a little sloppy. The pie being cut into 16s also threw me off

Absolute gas! First experience with New Haven and the best I’ve ever had! Soft and crispy at the same time, I can’t explain it!

The tomato pie is always great. Super crispy and the tomato pecorino combo goes nuts. New Haven location is same quality as other chain locations around US.

Great sauce on this New Haven staple. I’d prefer a bit more crisp but I guess I’m nit picking.

Perhaps the best pizza in the world. Following the rules and not giving it a 10 because how do I know? Aside from the pizza they run an excellent business. Friendly, courteous, great all around. I am glad Frank Pepe’s at several locations and the original didn’t disappoint.

Essentially like the New England patriots.. lives off of hype from years past. Good pizza, nothing better than any Philly pizza joints and has grease going down my arm.

Lives up to the hype quality pizza, miles above most every other pizza shop in Connecticut. Pepperoni would have clocked a 8.9

First New Haven pizza and it did not disappoint.

Frank Pepe’s was high on my list to try and they did not disappoint! We got a trio of pizzas and the Margherita was definitely our favorite! Delicious!

Absolutely delicious. Even the pepperoni was fabulous on its own. Sometimes it was a bit of a monster to get in your mouth.

It’s not my favorite out of the New Haven greats, but it’s still a very good pizza. 

Extra cheese was a 7.2

Great taste and crunch. Crust was good, nice coal fired cook

It’s good but nothing spectacular. Clam was more interesting than the tomato muzz. Good garlicky taste on the clam. Don’t know if I’m crazy about the crust. Glad I went at least once!
