Great crust, good sauce, lots of flop, not greasy, doesn’t live up tot he hype, but still a very good pizza

Fantastic pie, impeccable undercarriage. Great flavor, amazing sauce. Spicy, good pepperoni.

Excellent texture, good undercarriage. Nice blend of sauce& cheese. Slightly over cooked, but good.

It’s a Tale of Two Pizzas... 1/2 of this pizza was going to be an 8.6 pizza, but then on the other 1/2 of the pizza, it was soaked in oil. Even soaked thru the crust on 1/2 the pizza. Brought the score down to an 8.4. 😁. Still great pizza ...

I know this is considered legendary pizza but I don’t get it. I just found it to be pretty damn bland. The sauce didn’t do anything for me and just drags the score down. The sauce does taste fresh but it’s bland. I don’t like a sweet sauce and I like that it isn’t sweet I have to ask myself do they even flavor the sauce? The cheese and dough were fine but I think the emperor is not wearing any clothes when it comes to this pizza. If you’re in Watertown Pizza Roma is a much better choice at least to me.

Great char and crispy undercarriage. Still worth the drive but I can’t help but think the New Haven one is probably significantly better
