Solid pizza

Lively atmosphere, but still got that classic Pepe’s feel. This is the thinnest crust I’ve ever had for a Pepe’s and it’s so good. Some points lost to execution; the bottom of the pie crossed from Char into Burnt.

Crispy crust great sauce flavor and cheese ratio.

We love and go to this place a lot and today was my brothers birthday so we had to stop by his favorite place for dinner, Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana. The pizza here is always perfectly cooked and the cheese is the absolute perfect combination with the sauce. The crust is also very good but it is usually a little burned. They also have a very unique way of cooking their pizza and you are able to see them do it! No spoilers!! 😉

Delicious. Not as good as New Haven or Danbury but delicious. I had the bacon pizza. 7.8

Found taste not to be consistent throughout the pie. Had to a 3rd slice for a best taste.

Tastes like the cheapest slice of pizza I have ever had. I am very disappointed in this pizza. Covered in greasy and super floppy. Not the pizza they are known for

Half Potato/ Bacon (seasonal) Half Regular w/ Ricotta and Mushroom I’ve been to a couple different Pepe’s locations and they all seem all over the place in terms of consistency. This time around, it still had the amazing char flavor with quality ingredients. Thin, crispy, but not completely crispy all around, a couple floppy areas. If they had kept this in a bit longer, it would’ve been crispy all around and would’ve been a high 8. In terms of taste this is still on par with the other New Haven favorites. Quality sauce, quality cheese, good char, crunchy crust, delicious pie. 8.5 If you live far from a Pepe’s, you have to try it at least once.

Can’t lie not my favorite, a lot of hype around this pizza, the cheese was too sharp, the sauce didn’t taste like much and there was barely any of it. Only good part was the cook time. Not my favorite

Well, I don’t share Dave’s love for New Haven style pizza, this still isn’t too bad. This is my second time trying it the first time it was delivered and in route to getting to my destination it took forever so the pizza was dry and tasteless. I thought I deserved a second try and I’m glad I did. It’s good pizza but again it’s just not my favorite style. Still the sauce was goodcrunch was good not bad!

Better than the original??? It’s been a few years since I was at the OG spot on Wooster but my growing love for a well done, apizz style and overall hunger mightve over hyped this review a bit but if you told me this was from CT I wouldn’t argue. The oven is built to the same specs as the original and has about 15 years of seasoning in here. The crust is everything you’d want from a coal fired pie, that smoky flavor and char all over while having some nice consistent airyness. The sauce has the tang, has the sweetness complimented by the aid I’m sure of some grated cheese added before and after spending a little longer in the oven melds into one with that NH style cheese. It has that funk that all the best places in CT have, those first few bites will burn your face off but the flavor is out of this world. The Yonkers spot more than lives up to the hype of the Pepe’s name and deserves more recognition for delivering absolute elite level pizza.

First New Haven style pizza and not the last. It was amazing. Top quality ingredients. Beautiful char on the bottom. Zero flop.

This is one of the best pizzas I've had in a long long time. This pie has pepperoni and hot cherry peppers and all the components are divine! I suggest you eat their pies in the restaurant itself because placing it in the to-go box robs it of its most distinguishing characteristic, the insane crisp!

This is from a 6 year old pizza expert. He eats only pizza seven days a week and he know his pizza….
