Really good pizza but a tad over hyped because of Dave.

I made the hour drive based on Dave’s review. This pizza was as close to a 10 as you can get! Fredi’s is a whole vibe. It’s an experience. Fredi was busy at work, dusted in flower, and still took the time to ask us how our order was and if we needed anything. The interactions between Fredi and the customers are awesome. He made time to take photos when asked and gave me a few minutes of his time so I could tell him just how great everything was. He told me he wanted to create an experience and he has done just that. The only negative is all other pizza has been ruined for me and now I’ll have to drive an hour every time I want pizza.

Unreal pizza. Best pizza I’ve ever had in Michigan… truly amazing. Next time I will ask for pepperoni because they were amazing and I wish they had a lot more on the slices!!

The man himself, Fredi, makes all the pies, and he's a quiet master craftsman. 84 Tigers World Series was playing on the TV too, so double win

This place was awesome. I loved the pizza. It’s nice and light while also having a great crisp. Just be prepared for the wait!

Unreal pizza, Fredis pizza, great place great owners. Pizza was super light and crispy sauce wasn’t overly tangy and maybe could’ve benefited from more cheese but overall and 9/10 pizza!

The “Portnoy” classic was indeed exceptional and in the high 8’s but the pepperoni was only very good so I gave it a 7.9. The Goulash wasn’t for me but if you like elbow macaroni in a red sauce this is your kind of food. Reminded me of canned Chef Boy Ardi when I was a kid. I don’t care how good the pizza is the over an hour wait in the cold was not worth it. The owner and his wife could not be nicer however.

Light crispy crust, no flop, little cheese(quality cheese) & sauce was good. Wonderful atmosphere & terrific service.

Very light and excellent char on the bottom. The owner also has an excellent charity and this is worth the stop if you’re near Detroit.

Great people, Fredi thanked every customer in there, the lady working the orders always greeted people with a smile. I drove from Lansing to get this and will definitely be back!

Large pepperoni

Had”The Don”, was an extremely good pizza zero flop and crisp throughout the whole pizza.

I’m not a pushover, I like to be impressed, but I’m not looking for reasons to be. Everything about this place, man. The 90’s Detroit Lions re-runs, the Christmas music, the simple, likable service. Why is there not a line down the street? Maybe it was the rain today. The pizza was crisp-obviously coal-fired- the sauce flared just enough to be a personality but not a tantrum. And the crust. Listen. Mercy. Easy upper-8.

Zero flop. Great back story. Dave wasn't lying. It's great. People are great too. Definitely coming back!
