I had higher expectations for this visit seeing dave rated it in 8.5 but it shows itself. You look at the pizza in his video and it looks a lot different than mine. I think this place excels in larger pizzas from what i’ve seen so I don’t believe this score is fair for it. I got a small pizza with my dad with me and him giving it an 8.0. I think they’re a lot packed now as well obviously compared to the video. Now for the pizza itself, I like the new haven style, the undercarriage was good and I like the thickness of this pizza as it’s a lil thicker than your typical thin slice. The downsides is I like the undercarriage charred, not the crust like in the picture. A lil too much sauce, the cheese blend was great but they weren’t even. We just had christos before this with it being rated a lower score, I would say christos was the winner today and honestly I say this is a good pizza that I would definitely have again. (It deserves another chance with a large pizza I believe).
