You park in an alley and walk up a rickety staircase in the back of an old brick building. The furniture was straight out of the 70s and it smelled really good in there.
All those signs pointed to great pizza. Every thing was right except the actual pizza. How they’ve stayed in business over 60 yrs is beyond me. The crust looked like it was going to taste good, but it tasted like a pretzel. Way too greasy, oily and the sauce had no flavor.
Waiter was unprofessional, rude and obnoxious.
