Best pizza in long beach

Barely in the 7’s. Has gone downhill since its glory days in the 1990s. Pretty disappointing.

After seeing Dave was here, i figured id stop in, grab a regular to go with my normal sicilian review, and give it my own take before watching the video. 1 bite in, it was the most basic of basic football pizza. Extremely greasy and the dough/crust were on the tough side. The regular im at a 7.3 The sicilian is where my score comes from. Much better than the regulsr. Great cheese to sauce to dough ratio. Nice crisp underside with a chewy dough that i love. The crust had a great bite to it. Tastewise, its up there with some of the better spots. 8.1 on the Sicilian

Remember coming here in the early 80s when Long Beach was still a working class town, not millionaires row and still had an nyc edge to it. Pizza was much bette then and seems owners have changed and so have recipes, overall decent slice, okay crisp. Great cheese but sauce was bland. Sicilian slice not shown here was literally tasteless

Definitely NY-style. Okay undercarriage with some flop. Sauce is sweet and the dough is soft.

Very good pizza. Nice undercarriage. Wish it were a little crisper. Crust had nice texture but a little lacking in flavor. Would have been high 7's but it was a little too greasy. One of the better slices in the area.

Zero flop on this bad boy. Little bit thicker of an under carriage with a good crunch. Slightly garlicky but a great slice all around. Come on down to Long Beach and enjoy this jam for sure. That’s a review.
