Retro review. First time experiencing Chicago deep dish. Cheese was filling yet flavorful and the crust was flakey and crunchy. Excited to experience more Chicago treats

Very standard for Chicago deep dish style. Didn’t have as flavor or richness in the sauce. More cheesy-heavy. Crust is fine.

Hot out of the oven. Good size slice stuffed with tons of cheese. Crust is firm, but also flaky like a pie crust. Very good pizza. 8.7/10.

So. I’ve never had a true Chicago deep dish pizza before this one today. So I feel a little skewed on the scoring because I don’t have anything really to compare it to. But I liked it. A lot. The crust is flaky, almost reminded me a bit of pie crust. I loved the cheese and the sauce is tasty. I feel like this is probably a really great Chicago-style deep dish, but again, nothing else to compare it to, but I liked it.

My first deep dish pizza ever so I don’t know what the scale is on deep dishes. I’m a flat crust guy but for a deep dish this is great. I may be way off on my scores here but give me some slack since I’ve never had a deep dish. I think it’s real good. Lots of cheese. Sauce tastes great, crust has a flake to it almost like a pie crust and I liked that. Not greasy. Really good pie.

THIS IS THE FROZEN PIZZA SO MAY BE SKEWED SCORE. I liked it. It was way too much to eat but it was good. My problems with Chicago style shouldn’t compromise the score. I dig New York style way more and I didn’t like the viscosity of the sauce. The cheese was also stringy which isn’t for me. Overall it was great but just not my style.

I guess this is what those midwestern folks eat. It’s not to bad.

I am not a deep dish guy but this is a decent pie, nothing special.
