Not really a fair review since I got a personal pan style but I get the idea.
The buttery crust has a chicken pot pie vibe which is probably standard for Chicago style (not crazy about it but it’s fine). The cheese pull is iconic, as in everyone was taking pictures with the pull (on the full size pie). This is so filled with cheese it reminds me of stuffed crust pizza all throughout the za right up to the edge of the crust. The sauce was good I always like it on top of the cheese but checking this in a day late, I don’t recall it being particularly noteworthy tasting. It’s a big pie and will sit like a brick in your stomach, but totally worth the hype and going out of your way for.
Very different and hard to compare to a normal round but love the style, especially when done right.
