Pizza Review
In town from Chicago and figured I’d get a staple from back home. The problem with opening these franchises in other states is that more likely than not, the chefs have never had the real thing and do not know how it’s supposed to taste. I’m a vocal critic of Giordanos and always have been. No exceptions here. The major flaw of their stuffed pizza is that the top layer of crust is never cooked. The sauce saturates it and keeps it raw. It adds a distinct taste and texture that doesn’t do it for me. This pizza has limited meats and was just lots of melted cheese. That may be your cup of tea, but the flavors didn’t jive for me. Wasn’t the greatest showing for the many locations I’ve reviewed.
