Giorgio's Pizza

I ordered three slices from Giorgio's: a three topping neopolitan, a meat sicilian, and a supreme thick crust. They included a cup of marinara and a cup of cheese, which is cool. I give the three topping a 7.5, as it tasted great, had great seasoning, was easy to eat, but could've used more sauce though. I give the thick crust a 7.2, as the actual pizza tasted great, but the thickness of the crust took away from the actual pizza. And i give the meat sicilian an 8.1; the crust folded over was light, and went well with the slice. Parm was right amount, and meat blended well with cheese. Averaged together the score is only 7.6, but i add a couple decimal points for the friendliness of the lady working, the added cups, and the overall old-school vibe of the place.

Best slice I’ve had in a while.

Solid / Overall Pizza

The pizza was thin but had a good undercarriage. The pizza had a good sauce and good cheese with a little hint of garlic which was good. Crust was phenomenal. Would come back for more definitely worth it. The prices were good too!

I got a slice of meat! Great crust. Tasty toppings. Just the perfect amount of spice. Definitely a must do again.

Vibe is awesome. Light and crispy.

Came on a Saturday afternoon for my son’s AAU tourney. Tried a slice for $5. Very good taste and value. Liked the crisp and server made it extra crispy like I like it. It is very good but not quite on the level of Goodfellas (I gave it an 8). But this is still a very good option for a slice in downtown Indy.

Went here late night after a Pacer game. As an east coaster this is def not NY style pizza. It has the same size and purchase by the slice as NY but that's as far as it goes. Don't get me wrong it's a decent slice when you're drunk but outside of that I would pass.

Bit of a greaseball, solid crunch on the crust but little flavor with everything else.

Dave is spot on. Good pizza. Will come back. Good flavor. Little flop.

Something obviously happened since Dave’s review. I did not expect much from Indy pizza and they met my low expectations. The pizza was so undercooked…..i even offered a slice to one of the city’s homeless and they even turned it down.

A true New York style slice….would return when in town
