Grandpa's Pizza

Owner was a super cool guy, very personable, kept checking on us, the pizza was incredible, crispy with very little flop, well done!

Picture does not do it justice. Crust was amazing and the cheese and sauce were very good. Overall highly recommend this pizza.

Bread was dry , overhyped

Me and my boys came by on a friday night and ordered 3 pizzas: meatlover, Sicilian, grandmas pie. All the pies were good, Sicilian and grandmas were the best. Score is based on score between all three. Owner was super nice, talked with all of us. Would go again 🤙🏻

Grandmas pizza was better than the cheese

Very light. Crispy bottom. No flop at all. Very tasty and I highly recommend. Blink and you’ll miss this place. This is definitely takeout because there’s nowhere to eat inside. There is two picnic tables outside but in that Florida heat I’d rather eat at home. Great pizza!

Solid slice…probably would have had more crisp if I ordered a whole pie but for a slice, it’s as good as it’s gonna get! The sauce and cheese blended well…a little bit on the juicy side but not too bad

Rookie score and stand behind it on this one. Got the grandma since that’s what everyone recommended. If you like sauce, this is incredible pizza. I’m on the fence about this style pizza but really good. If the dough were a bit fluffier, score would be higher. Happy I stopped by!

I haven’t had a pizza this good in a LONG time. When I picked it up I saw the guy making a different pie, all fresh ingredients, even the dough. It was thin but not too thin, absolutely no flop, no burns either. I had 3 slices of my pizza before leaving back home, and I didn’t feel heavy at all. The pie was light but filling. GREAT FOOD

Just got back from a trip, from Ft. Lauderdale to Clearwater. I pulled off I75 (2.9 miles) and came to one of the most talked about pizzerias on the Florida West Coast. 1. Located on a strip of Latin bars, clubs and restaurants in Bonita Beach 2. David Portnoy was here and praised them for being there 40 years, owners from Naples Italy, and them working in the shop all the time. 3. The pizza overall was good, with a very well made dough. The bad part was the aroma of some kind of cheese they must mix in. I just couldn't shake the overwhelming smell.

For my 100th different pizza joint review I kept with the usual pep and sausage. This pie definitely slaps, its a thin pizza with great sauce and undercarriage. No flop here! Only thing I would say is its a bit greasy which brings it down.
