Got rained out from work tonight, ate chinese buffet around 8pm, thought i’d be good til tomorrow but hunger struck me at 3:45am and i caved. Looking around on all the delivery apps, absolutely nothing was open. Not even a Mcdonalds. At last i checked Uber Eats and Kennedy showed up as being open. So i checked their Yelp, (terrible reviews) and it said they closed at like 1am? So i called the restaurant, just long enough for some guy who hated his life could say “hello kennedy..” Click! I hung up on him. I dont like talking on the phone. Good news was that means yelp was wrong and they ARE open til 4am. I ordered this pizza and chicken at around 3:50. I bet theirs spit on it. Especially because it said on the app something like “Kennedys is delivered by Restaurant workers”. I mapped it from my hotel, 9 mile drive into Troy. I hated to do it to them but i was hungry. 5 dollar tip. Now as for the pizza, dont go here unless you’re in a situation like me and its the only thing open. Its not great, its ok, but no better than that little family owned Italian Restaurant down the street, Domino’s. Rubbery cheese and lots of it. Pastey sauce, kinda sweet, no fresh tomato brightness or tang... the crust was standard thickness, no crisp, bread like with a slight chew. Meh. I’m being generous with the score (rookie score) because they are the only, and i mean the ONLY place open, for miles other than Cumberland Farms gas station. The chicken was like a 6.7.
