Pizza Review
Have to agree with Eddie at the 7.1 on this one. I’ve driven past this place for two and half years and finally got to try it. I got the thin crust but then saw their “world famous” deep dish pizza and had to get it too. Both pizzas had different flavors and different crusts. The thin was a nice flour base with a firm hold, but had a nice crunchy and soft finish. There was a lot of cheese and toppings were average. It was a substantial tavern pizza. Deep dish had the texture and taste like Lou’s. I didn’t find there to be enough cheese on it, so it was overpowered by the crust. However the flavor was pretty great. Both pizzas seemed to be missing a little more seasoning in the sauce to really round it out, but otherwise it was very good pizza and executed just short of perfect. This is definitely a nice option in the area. Bonus that it has a full dining and bar area unlike most other carry out/delivery places nearby.
