I’m documenting this review under Holiday Inn Restaurant because I doubt they have pizza. This review is for Mochiko Mochi Pizza at 283 Lorton Ave. in Burlingame, CA.
This pizza is terrible. The mochi is good and I like the crispy baked texture. But as a pizza…no. The sauce is bad, the cheese is fine, and the pepperoni was horrible. I was left with a metallic and burnt taste that lingered.
I applaud the attempt at making mochi pizza. I think this concept would work as a dessert pizza and I hope they consider that route because I doubt this business will last without a pivot.
