i’ve been to new york, chicago, and italy. i know what i know. this clearly breaks the 8 barrier (i.e. you would travel to eat) despite an obvious pitfall. but first to the good stuff: the sauce is rich with basil. the pie has the new york flop but still retains real crispness. the cheese is tasty (although they could have gone 20-25% more cheese), paper thin just how i like it. the crust was thick and doughy and is the only strike against the pizza. for me this could have crept into the high eights had they got the crust right. i add salt and red pepper flakes which i believe dave allows.
