Il Trio Restaurant

As with all my reviews, the score is based solely off the cheese slice which is eaten first to ensure a fair score. Holy wow what a disappointment. Drove over 30 minutes to try this “9.5” slice. Starving and craving pizza I searched for anything over 8 in the area and found this place. The crust is excellent. Thin but not too thin and keeps a nice crunch. Unfortunately that’s all this pizza has going for it. Both the cheese and sauce are bland as can be. The sauce is also very watery, causing the cheese to slide right off or ball up in the back in a huge wad of flavorless crap. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined. Absolutely skip this place. There’s better pizza damn near everywhere on Long Island. Also F the guy who gave this a 9.5, the hell were you raised dude?
